Group thank-you gifts

Thank the coach, the teacher or the boss, from the whole group.

One person sets it up, and every name in the group is signed on it. Share a few thoughts about the person you're thanking, and we turn them into a finished award certificate, a thank-you letter or both, from all of you.

How it works

Three steps, about a minute per person you thank, start to finish.

Everyone in the group signs it for free, up to 200 names. Nothing is final until you approve it.

  1. 1

    One person sets it up

A parent, a team organizer or a coworker starts the order and chooses a thank-you to a coach, teacher or boss. Pick a letter, a certificate or both, and a design.

  2. 2

Share a few thoughts, add every name

Say or type a few thoughts about the person you're thanking: a moment, a habit, what the group will remember. Then add the first names of everyone signing.

  3. 3

    Review, approve and print

You get a finished award certificate, a thank-you letter or both, from all of you, with every name signed on it. Change anything you like, approve it, then print or email it.

Three real examples

For the coach, the teacher and the boss.

Each was written from the few thoughts shown with it and is shown exactly as it came out. The names and groups are made up.

What the group said

“She never missed a practice, even in the rain. She made the kids who had never played before feel like they belonged. When we lost the last game she told them she was proud of how hard they fought, and they walked off smiling.”

The certificate

Coach of the Year

For showing up every single time, making us all feel like we belonged, and teaching us that heart and effort matter just as much as the score.

The letter that came back

Dear Coach Dana,

Thank you for showing up for us every single time. You never missed a practice, even in the rain, and that told us something important: we mattered to you. Knowing you would be there made us want to be there too.

You made every one of us feel like we belonged, even the ones who had never played before. That kind of welcome changes everything. It made this team feel like a place where we could all learn and grow together, no matter where we started.

When we lost the last game, you told us you were proud of how hard we fought, and we walked off smiling. That moment showed us what a great coach does. You helped us see that effort and heart matter just as much as the score, and that is a lesson we will carry with us.

Thank you for believing in us, for being steady and patient, and for making this season one we will always remember. You gave us more than drills and games. You gave us confidence, and that is a gift.

Signed by everyone: With love from the Comets, Ava, Noah, Mia, Liam, Zoe, Mateo, Ella, Jack.

What the group said

“Ms. Rivera greets every kid at the door by name every morning. She made reading fun with the class book club. She is so patient on the hard days and makes everyone feel seen.”

The certificate

Teacher of the Year

For greeting every one of us by name each morning, making reading an adventure we all love, and showing us patience and kindness on even the hardest days.

The letter that came back

Dear Ms. Rivera,

You greet every one of us at the door by name every morning, and that is how we know the day is going to be good. Walking into Room 12 and hearing you say our name makes us feel like we matter.

You made reading fun with the class book club. We never thought we would get so excited about books, but you showed us that stories can take us anywhere. Now we all love reading, and that is because of you.

You are so patient on the hard days, and you make every one of us feel seen. When things are tough, you never rush us or make us feel bad. You help us figure it out, and you always believe we can do it.

Thank you for everything you do for us. We are so lucky to have you as our teacher.

Signed by everyone: With love from Room 12, Sofia, Leo, Amara, Ben, Chloe, Diego, Grace, Henry.

What the group said

“Dana's door is always open. She backed us up with a tough client in the spring and gave the team the credit when the project went well. She makes Mondays feel easier for everyone.”

The certificate

Owner of the Year

For always keeping your door open, backing us up when it mattered most, and making every Monday feel a little easier for all of us.

The letter that came back

Dear Dana,

Your door is always open, and that means more to us than you might realize. Knowing we can walk in when we need you makes every challenge feel more manageable.

When you backed us up with that tough client in the spring, you showed us what real leadership looks like. You stood with us when it mattered, and then you gave the team all the credit when the project went well. That kind of generosity doesn't go unnoticed.

You have a way of making Mondays feel easier for everyone. Not every boss can do that, and we know how lucky we are to work for someone who does.

Thank you for leading us the way you do. We're grateful to be part of Summit.

Signed by everyone: From all of us at Summit, Elena, Jordan, Marcus, Priya, Tom, Keisha, Sam.

Can I change a certificate or a letter?

Yes. Review each one, change anything you like, or ask for a fresh version. Make sure it says what you meant, then approve it.
